Alongside our hardworking teachers and support staff, we rely on volunteers and community to support our operations, so we can ensure that your donations are being used as effectively as possible.

Buy A School Uniform - 18€

School uniforms promote equality and foster a sense of community and school pride. Uniforms also simplify daily routines for families and enhance safety by making students easily identifiable.

Sponsor A Child - 300€ (per year)

Student sponsorship is a significant contributor to our daily operations (see more below) and one of the most effective ways for you to help empower our children for the future.

Build A Classroom - 8000€

One of our goals for the future is to expand our capacity to take on more students as soon as possible. Building more classrooms is a fantastic way to help us achieve these goals.

Student Sponsorship

We strive to offer kids free education, especially for families who can’t afford school fees. Our approach is simple; “everyone gives what he/she can”. Families who can pay school fees do so, while others contribute through food donations or by helping maintain the school grounds.

Even with this support, extra funding is needed to cover things like school supplies, transport, and daily meals - it costs €450 to support a child’s education. That’s where you come in! By becoming a sponsor, you’re not just fulfilling a child’s dream to receive an education - you’re also building a special connection through regular correspondence, enriching the child’s life and your life as well!

Volunteer Work

We love visitors! Interested in gaining international experiences and working with children and young people? Our supporters Dreams for Kids e.V organise volunteer opportunities in Zanzibar, which provide us with vital assistance and allows us to direct as much donation money as possible to our number one priority - our kids!

Not only is Zanzibar a stunning tropical island, with amazing weather, epic wildlife and a vibrant, friendly and welcoming culture, but while you’re here you can participate in multiple capacities including teaching, tutoring, organising sports activities, working with children with disabilities, and even contributing your own expertise in fields like business, accounting, education and marketing to assist us with our operations.
